@MadeFitTV thats true some people also have “high calves” where the calves are big but their ankles are skinny making the leg look skinny to be honest i think having better toned or muscled quads are better but people usually only see the calves when you wear shorts
@za1pp That sounds about right, but it also depends on your body type. For some, no amount of training can increase muscle size and shape, especially if you have a lot of Type I muscle fibers (oxygen-rich, built for endurance over power & size) typical of ectomorph body types.
Ok thanks and one more question does ur calves muscle keep on growin and gettin stronger if u exercise them alot and how is the fastest way for me to start jumping higher
@geoopa Thank you for your honesty, I appreciate it. I know… many people just want you to “lie” to them, but then I would not be true to my viewers. My goal is just to be as informative as possible, yet do it in a way where it gives people the power and desire to make small changes day-to-day to lead to big results. Plus, I also want people to accept their strengths and focus on the positive : )
A very informative and honest account on building muscle. There are limitations with genetic predisposition and your knowledge gives credence to what you are saying which makes you believable. Unfortunately it’s not what most would like to here. Everyone likes to dream that they can be the next Olympian.
Well done young lady. Oh, it must be said that you look sensational. This further supports your advice.
Cheers.
I only weight 110lbs, and I’m 4’11″, so the camera def adds weight. I have a figure competition this Saturday, so I worked hard on my physique and am very happy with how I look- and so is my husband : )
hi i am saif i love the game soccer and i am really good in it but i can’t run fast my friends tell me to try growing ur calf so i am trying from i week and i find no different
(i am fat)
I’m the have not and it f@cking sucks, i don’t ever wear shorts when i’m going out!
The thing is when i work them they can get really huge during my workout but when i stop and wake up the next morning they’ve deflated like a balloon.
I am definitely more towards the half not, but my cousin Christina Whoa, shes so skinny(and athletic) but has these massive calfs. Weird how things work out.
Your’e almost right. It takes 48 hours to fully recover the muscles. But in other way, 1 days it’s enough if you don’t do some killer monster super mega and other piece of crap exercises.
To get better calves, try doing one leg calf raises while holding a free weight (kettlebell?). Stand on a slightly raised platform. Calf raise right leg, hold weight with right hand. Repeat for left side.
@manzarek74
you do need time for rest, and you should hit every angle of the calve when you work it out…it needs less rest compaired to a larger muscle because they carry the weight of your body everyday, they need to be truly beaten up to break the thresh hold from everyday use…you should stick to a higher rep range 15-25 and focus on form and time under tention…3 exercises, 4 sets each, and maybe a couple drop sets at the end..NO more than 3 times a week and you’ll have huge calves
@DXfan123456 Well I am fit, healthy, and happy and that’s the way I am, so if you don’t like it, too bad : ) Have a healthy and happy Holiday!
i love ur body from waste down…the arms just kill the whole thing:( too much
very helpful
@za1pp High calves are better than cankles, that’s for sure, lol!

Calves get huge with heavy weights like heavy straight leg calf raises 6-12 reps and seated calf raises with very high reps
@RuneAnime1 : ) Thank you!
@FvckTheFvckingSystem Dude, schedule an eye exam. This woman is fuckin FINE…physique included.

@Anwar44444 Every muscle group requires time and consistency of training to get the optimum benefits of strength and performance.
Yea and does it take a long time for it to reach it’s full streagth
@Anwar44444 they won’t necessarily get bigger, as I say in the video, but you will get stronger! Happy training : )

@manzarek74

This guy is already an instant failure… hes not telling you what needs to be done in order to get them if your not genetically gifted
@manzarek74 dude just find what works for u…tust me
cant you work them all 3 angles in one day? or you need to do calves that often?
i thought you needed 3 or more days to rest the muscles.
@divinidadoscura this guy sounds like he’s got pinky fingers below his knees
