I want to build muscle, I want to have big muscles, what must I do? The answer is simple! Start lifting weights, set your goals, eat proper and rest!

Here are some tips to help you start:

First tip is: Set your goals! Do not be over optimistic, do not be over pessimistic in setting your goals. Just be realistic! No one can become a bodybuilding champ over night. Do not fool yourself, today I will lift 10000 pounds and tomorrow I will look like Terminator. Start by knowing your body and you will quickly learn what is a realistic goal for you. Write your realistic goals down, make a schedule. People make plans in their head and forget them, write your plans on a paper. Read your goals, follow a schedule. When you will feel down, look at your goals and what you already achieved and your mood will go up. Follow a routine of your schedule! Make yourself a training program and follow it. Once you get in a rhythm, you will feel great and your body will be grateful!

Next tip is: Ask people, learn more about training, about lifting weights…! It is true the bodybuilding is a individual sport, but do not be afraid to ask people for the advice, ask your trainer, ask a friend. Trust me, people will help you if you ask them nicely. Knowledge is power is also true for bodybuilding.

The following tip is: You must overload/stress your muscle! Only way to build your muscle and gain strength is to stress your muscle. Bigger weight means bigger muscle! Do not over exceed yourself as you might heart yourself! Warm up by lifting smaller weights. Start slowly, use smaller weight, less repetitions, then steadily add more weight, and later more repetitions. If you would always lift the same amount of weight, then your progress will stop. So try to add more repetitions with lifting the same weight or add more weight with the same repetition or decrease the rest time between your repetitions.

The last tip is: Proper nutrition and proper rest! You may set your goals, lift heavy weights, but without proper nutrition and proper rest there will not be any progress. Your muscle as your body needs energy to work. The energy comes from the proper nutrition! Without proper nutrition you will be easily tired, so belive me when I say that proper nutrition is the key. The proper nutrition will have 40% of Carbohydrates, 40% of Protein and 20% of fat. The muscle growth happens while you sleep and rest so it is very important to rest and sleep properly.


Follow this tips, be patient, work out, eat, rest properly and you will get the body you want.

Fitness Tips for Beginners

Anyone interested in building muscles or staying fit must understand that they need fitness tips especially if they are new to the whole weight training program. Experts warn that effective training programs should incorporate varied training doses – that is, training volume, frequency and or intensity.

Always keep this in mind: confusion is the only obstacle on the road to good physical fitness, because the best tips on the face of the planet will not work if you do not act on them accordingly. The best thing you can possibly do is to make sure you do not overexert yourself while implementing these tips. Always remember that you are not a machine, the formula is fitness tips plus your efforts will be equal to body fitness.

You can use the following tips:

1) Maintaining Muscular Balance

When you are designing a program to suit you, select several exercises and sets for opposing muscle groups, why? Because some joints are more likely to be prone to injury or altered posture when much training volume is performed on just one movement and not the opposite movement.

2) The ROM Criteria

You should consider setting up a Range Of Motion (ROM) criteria on exercises that are known to have peak tension curve, for example, calf exercises, the shrugs, hip abduction and so on (this is a valuable weight training tip). When you are doing your warm up set, make sure you take note of the position of the apparatus at full range, and all the succeeding workout repetition should consistently reach the benchmark. Do this without accelerating the weight through this harder part of the exercise.

3) Symmetry

When you are performing a unilateral exercise, make sure you begin with the weaker side first, then you can complete as many repetitions on the stronger side.

4) Monitor Muscle Gains

Always make sure you monitor muscle mass gains each month, because if you do not observe muscle gains over time you can make dietary changes and exercises in a timely manner.

5) Starting Again After a Layoff

This is a good fitness tip. Before you start again after a long layoff, experts advise that you perform only a light set during your first workout.  You can start performing a warm up and a moderately intense workout set during a subsequent workout. It will certainly take a longer time to recuperate between workouts if you become too sore from performing several sets and exercises. Your body is not a machine, it will take some time for your body to adapt with less chance of injury if your initial workout is quite brief, and the volume and intensity is gradually increased systematically. The good news is muscle memory. Your body will respond faster and you will regain all the gains you lost in a shorter amount of time.

You need to understand that these fitness tips will work effectively if you act upon them. You do not need to overexert yourself when trying to stay in shape. You can ask an instructor at your local gym to help you design a workout system that will be very suitable for you.
